Nacional de España (CTNE) in 1924 in Madrid, Spain. Through its 89 years of
history, Telefonica has accomplished many milestones that have lead to continuous
world-wide expansion and future ongoing success.

traded on IBEX35 but also on London, New York, Lima and Buenos Aires.

serves about 215 million customers in South America, therefore this continent
is very strategic for our business operations.

company has been operating since 1924. Due to its tremendous expandion and
global success, in 1945 the Spanish state acquired 80% of Telefonica´s shares.
